Overview

What Struqter does, what you are charged for, and how to authenticate.

Struqter provides one API for synchronous and asynchronous web retrieval. A request is billable only when Struqter returns a validated success. Provider selection and provider-native errors are internal implementation details.

By default you are charged when the target answers with a 2xx status, or 404, and Struqter accepts the content. If the target returns 410, 403 or similar, you receive HTTP 502 with code TARGET_ERROR, the status in X-Target-Status, and no charge. If your use case needs a different set of statuses delivered and billed — a narrower 2xx-only contract, or broader coverage such as availability monitoring or link checking — your contract can be adjusted; ask during onboarding.

Send the API key in every request. Keep it server-side and never embed it in browser code.

Authorization: Bearer <api-key>

The examples use https://api.example.struq/v1 as a placeholder base URL. Your onboarding details contain the actual URL and API key.
